What I Wish I Was Learning in School

As of today, ALL of our American followers are officially back in school. Welcome back, everyone! We’re rooting for you and your successes.

We know you’re studying English, math, sciences, history and civics, maybe government and economics. This month, we want to focus on what you *wish* you were learning. Perhaps you feel you and your peers would benefit from learning stress management and meditation. Maybe you wish your school had a cooking class. Or that you had a class just on things like filling out taxes and changing flat tires.

Let’s talk about it. Sharing these stories may inspire a student to start her school’s first Auto Club, or inspire a school board official to listen to what kids really want.

We want to share what you wish you were learning in school, but aren’t.

We invite you to share articles, interviews, listicles, personal essays, art, poetry, photography, playlists, music- whatever format helps you explain what you wish you were learning in school.

Please send your submission, along with a short, 1-2 sentence bio, and a photo (optional) to hello at missheardmedia dot com!
