You’re Invited!: Young Women’s Roundtable
Who: YOU! (Suggested for young women ages 15-18)
What: Virtual Roundtable
When: May 16, 3-4 pm EST
Where: Wherever you are, on Zoom!
Why: To explore the meaning of SUCCESS
Investment: 1 Hour of Your Time!
We share so much, so often, via text, TikTok, Snapchat. We share in 15 second snippets- which can be fun, entertaining, even informative. And that’s great!
What if we want to discuss topics more deeply? Enter: The Roundtable. A roundtable discussion is a space to discuss and unpack a specific topic. For this roundtable, we’ll be unpacking what SUCCESS is.
Success is an idea shaped by family, society, culture, and faith. Ask 100 people what it means to be a success, and you’ll get 100 answers. With our society looking…quite different lately, this is a great time to think about what success means. A roundtable doesn’t try to answer the question, instead it’s a space where everyone can share and learn from one another.
Everyone who attends the Young Women’s Roundtable is equal. Period. I’ll be facilitating the conversation to ensure that everyone gets a chance to share and be heard. Think of it like a discussion masterclass! This is an opportunity to connect and share with young women from across the globe!
Because this will be a special conversation, there will be only be ten total seats!
My friend and fellow Teen Whisperer Kirsten Cobabe will be joining as well! Kirsten Cobabe, MSW is a social worker and family coach who specializes in supporting adolescents and parents. Her heart-centered, validating, radically accepting and outside of the box approach allows families to be who they truly are and grow from here.
