Losing Brave shows how Payton struggles to maintain her sense of self after her sister disappeared- and with no clear answers as to what happened. The book highlights the changes in Payton’s personality through flashback scenes; readers have to stay on their toes to follow the timeline!

Payton’s relationship with Cole is one of the highlights of the book. Their friendship seems natural, albeit complicated. Cole is such a kind and supportive character, I couldn’t help but like him!

I don’t want to give away any spoilers, so I will just say WHAT AN ENDING! Yall know I love a good PLOT TWIST, and the last 20 pages of Losing Brave has plot twists aplenty.

If you like brave female characters (no pun intended), small town Southern life, and a little mystery, you will enjoy what Bailee and Stefne have created!
